Fakémon
Fakémon
This Fakémon is based on a gum brand named Chiclets which is made from Chicle, a natural type of gum found in some Mesoamerican trees and was used for dental hygiene in the Aztec and Mayan cultures. Chicle acts as a type of sap in said trees.
This line of Fakémon revolves around the different forms of currency in Aztecan culture. Although there were no official Aztec currencies, cocoa beans were a more common standard for money. Another form of currency was the copper tajadero , or the Aztec hoe/axe money, which was about 8000 cacao seeds in worth.
Both Fakémon mix the concepts of chocolate, copper tajaderos, and currencies together. Hatchoco evolves into Cocoaxe
